Really BIG radiator and not enough room in front of that Chevy mill.

I happen to know the car, and I agree, definitely not for the purist, but if you look at it from a nutty streetrod angle, this thing is unique. And don't mourn over the ruination of a PV. The body was the kind of Swiss cheese that no one but the guy who built this car would have taken home, so it would just have sat there, slowly getting mulched into Maine's rocky soil. BTW, it actually drives very well. As for the styling, oh well, tastes come in all flavors.
