Whats the difference? B23ET/B230ET and B23FT/B230FT 700

Hi

I am getting into the Volvo thing.

What is the difference between the cars with FT and ET suffixes, is it a different compression ratio or fuel system or what? Also when did Volvo introduce the low-friction motors?

What is likely to be the specification to my 1984 760 Turbo? I don't have a manual and the Haynes thing is difficult to read.

Thanks
Matt 1984 760 Turbo
