Replacement Springs--Progressive or Not? 120-130

My 67 122 needs new springs I think. Tooled the in laws around and could feel the car bottom out (no pun intended). They aren't big by any means, stout maybe big, no.

My springs look like the original ones and the shocks could use replacement too but I want to replace the right parts at the right time.

I understand that John Parker's progressive rate springs are great but with my intended driving (not competetion, but spritied from time to time) I wonder if they will make a the difference.

Anyone out there have any experience with these?

Thanks much
