How do you do it - 2nd car insurance for resto car 200 1985

I would like to pick up an '85 240 wagon to restore. How does one go about insuring a car like this....I would need to move it between my two shops a few times a month and the shops are only 4mi apart. then any misc. miles to get work done at other shops....but basically this car will sit in the shop most of the time. my insurance co. want to insure it for liability only and classify it as a pleasure car b/c thats the cheapest option....but its still $75.00/month. Is there some loophole that car restorers use to be able to move the car around w/o paying big bux. i dont have a way to tow it. I do have full coverage on my 2003 daily driver if that is a factor. Also if $75.00/month sounds high, then remember i'm 20 years old (although no accidents/tickets)
