Headlight out 200 1981

I just bought a 1981 244DL on Thursday. Im real impressed. Its my second Volvo.

I seem to be having an issue with my drivers side headlight. There is no power getting to the bulb. I have took the low beam hot wire, and cut it to test the circut, and nothing. I was trying to follow the wire back, but it goes into a wrapper, so I cant tell where it comes out. Can someone please let me know of a fix for this. Like I said I just bought it, and havent gotten a manual yet!
