I believe you are correct in expecting a lot of variables measuring the output at idle, meaning the cfm & density needed to keep a turbo running at idle, even rpm being the same, may vary a lot from one motor to another. Speculation.

What I figure doesn't vary a lot is the output of the meter with no air movement. This is the voltage I've used to compare units, unfortunately my notes cover LH2.0 and a couple LH2.4 in NA 240s. My good readings were 1.5 ~ 1.7 ignition on, motor off. A bum AMM would be 1.2 to maybe 1.4, so lean the ECU could not adjust.

I suspect your 7 series turbo has LH2.2 but it wouldn't faze me a bit if I'm off a year or two.

If you want to pursue the rich mixture, the LED test point, if you indeed have LH2.2 in that 90 (007 amm) is a good indicator. If that car is LH2.4, I think the best indicator is a scope on the oxygen sensor or maybe just swapping in a known good one.
