still more wagon questions... 120-130

The wagon is now just a rust-free frame and will get primered this weekend. Previous owner used a U-haul blanket for carpet padding!

Question, the rear lip has screw holes that look like a large aluminum sill plate should be there like in the four doors. Does one actually belong and exist?

next, there was also a small catch mounted under the rear seat on the right side (passenger) with nothing to "catch". any hints?

The current wagon has none of these for a reference point.

Finally. would painting the inside of the frame rails with Por-15 make them survive a few extra winters?
