my degreasing plan... any potential problems? 200 1986

To degrease an engine with out hurting the paint.
I spray water on the fenders and the opened hood. This will catch all the harsh chemicals and dilute them, so not to hurt the paint. I power wash inward onto the engine trying to not let the splash over hit the fenders. When I am rinsing I usually re-spray the fenders alot, as I am rinsing the engine bay.

Another great cleaner is simple, clear karosine. As it cuts the grease well, and most importaint
"WONT HARM THE PAINT OR DRY OUT THE RUBBER IN OR AROUND THE ENGINE BAY".

I hope this helps, GOOD LUCK!!
