Dead overdrive? 140-160 1972


Make sure you remove the *top* plug first. The top one is
where you fill and the bottom one is where you drain. The
bottom one is usually easy to get out and the top one is often
very hard to get out.

If you remove the bottom one first, you'll have taken the
oil out of the transmission without any assurance that you will
be able to get it back in. Transmissions make funny noises if
you drive them without oil....
