89 740 turbo Wont idle stedy poor fule milages and more.... 700

OK ****Warning**** I plan on stateing most all of the problems with the car on the chance they are related.
i just got this car about a month ago. i'v so far put aprox 5K miles on it
when i got it the idle was *Prefect* Great Gas milage
Info: 740 Turbo intercooler. (old turbo has been replaced)
Miles: 275,000
well the car sounded great when i got it idled prefect Loads of power (turbo was turned up to 12 LBS and has a blow off valve
any way there is a known oil leak by the distributor?
i'm noticeing that i can hear the valves tapping...
the idle "searches"? it will go between 500 and 1200 normaly searches around 500-1000 RPM.
i have noticed it seems to be sucking down more fuel aswell and maby dosent have the same pick up as it used to (could be wrong but...) also it seems to be missing some times at idle.
furthere more i pulled the oil cap off while idleing and i'm not shure how much air is acutlay moveing out
but it would seem that air is trying to excape and also being sucked back in.
Any sugestions? any free/cheap ones? any tests i can do that will help you more?

Alrite moveing on to problem number 2 (advice please)
when braking from 100+ mph there get's to be a very bad shaking in the steering wheel feels like it's gonna jump rite out of my hands. not heaven Heavy braking but moderate does this and light does it but Very slightly less. i was thinking of having the rotors planed or gettign new ones. but what do i know.

#3 it's always had slight pull to the rite. but i have been noticeing a high pitch squeel comeing from what i think is the front pass wheel? any ideas? any thing i can lube up? i need to mention that it only does this when counter steering if you let go of the wheel and let the car wonder to the right the sound goes away. any questions you would like to ask me? please do.

#4 my fuel guage dosent seem to be working correctly some times it shows full (if the tank is full) most of the time it shows empty or in the red but seems to kind of work when i'm actualy down to aprox 1/4th tank it reads aprox 1/4th tank.

i have not gotten around to pulling the sensor in the tank and looking yet any body know if the sensor and pump would be compatable with the units from an 85 760 GLE V6?
thanks for the help in advance i'm worried i may have gotten a lemon (agin) with the volvo lable but i Love my car also it's a 4 speed stick with 5 as over drive

Ohhh PS: what all is dont in the Tranny service for 175K miles? i know i need o rings for the OD (are they hard to put in and how do you go about that)

well i guess i dident get around to every thing but i got the ones that have been bugging me.... thanks for your responces. Gary
