$10 starting bid doesn't seem so bad. $10 shipping and handling is maybe justified based on size and bulk. Guess how much Volvo wants for new binders? $10. Guess how much Volvo wants for UPS ground shipping? Nothing. Zip. Zilch. Nada. Some poor guy is paying twice what Volvo wants for a new binder.. and getting some beat up one instead.

Of course that's a bargain compared to the $15 he wants to ship the Volvo 960 service manual he has up for auction.

Ah. I guess that's the "soul" or "character" we're paying for.
