WIPERS DOCK IN WRONG POSITION 200 1986

Thanks. I fixed it.

Turns out there is a gearbox that is accessible by removing a little galvanized metal access plate by the motor and the contacts that index the wipers back to the "park" position are right there. The contacts are operated by a small (looks like Delrin or Teflon) cam wheel that is coaxially "toothed" to the main operating gear so they turn together.

I detached the cam wheel from the gear by prying it up with a small screwdriver, rotated it a couple teeth in relation to the main gear, and voila!, everything synched up perfectly.

Thanks again.
