Here's an exact quote lifted from another Volvo list I like to read. Actually, this post has now shown up on two others Volvo lists I like to read.

Subject: Volvo Werks Feedback

In recent posts, there have been some comments regarding Volvo Werks
and their offerings on eBay. As a customer of theirs, I would
recommend against using them.

I was one of the two persons who purchased an engine from them
through eBay. It was purchased the end of April, with a tentative
delivery date of early June. Through repeated contacts with Volvo
Werks, and failure to deliver the engine as promised, I had to cancel
the order.

I was impressed with the information provided regarding the engine
build and felt comfortable taking the risk with ordering the engine
through an unfamiliar vendor. They certainly seemed to be well
experienced with older Volvo's.

I cannot comment on the quality of their products, but can say their
service fell well below my expectations.
