might not have been a 72 120-130

Matt,

The floats have a metal tabbed washer, and the bodies have two grooves to set the floats at 0degree or 30?degrees. Looks like it will be the correct angle for the volvos.

i will have to cut the center section out of the Z cross linkage and weld it back together. The carbs mount a lot closer together on the B18. I have 2 sets to butcher. It shouldn't be too hard.

They have a strange indexed adjustment ring with spring loaded detents in place of the mixture adjustmen nut. Alot easier to turn by hand than my others.

The floats mount toward the outside and throttle return springs and the choke cable go on in between the carbs. Shouldn't be a problem.

There is a flange on the top that has the 3-bolt air filter pattern. This is held on by 2 flushmount phillips screws. When removed my 2-bolt air cleaners fit. Are other SU's this way?

I think all the hardware is metric, not sure though. 3-screws on the Dashpot, and 4 on the float lids.

Either they came with brass bushings or somenone had them re-bushed. The shafts appear to be chrome plated and have almost no play. I just had to buy them. How could i go wrong at $30 for the pair including 3/4 inch phenolic spacers and 2 sets of linkage?

If they don't work out I'll keep you in mind.
