Should I or shouldn't I . . . 200

Your son is lucky to have a car. The a/c in my 1980 wagon has not worked for at least ten years and the blower motor is on its last legs. I have put up with it, although I will admit that last year with basically no fan and hot flashes (at least that is one thing your son does not have to contend with!) and 100+ degree weather it was no picnic. Luckily this year I also have the '92 with working a/c and will drive that on the really hot days. My younger daughter really fought me on having to drive the Volvo wagon a few years ago till she realized it was that or her feet and the bus. It took a few years till she appreciated its great qualities. Sounds like a good car you have got him though, and with regular preventative maintenance it should carry him safely for many years to come.
