I did it ! - I bought a 240 - it needs work :) 200 1989

Well, I did it. I bought a tan colored 1989 240 Wagon today. The body is MINT! Interior is not bad. Auto tranny leaks a lot. The brakes stutter and jitter about a bit but still stop in a hurry if you need too. The exhaust has a major leak and the car can be heard from a ways off! The gas gauge isnt reading the fuel level. Everything else seems great. The car came w/ a brand new brake rotor sealed in plastic in the trunk. I'll see if I can get a pic of my two wagons up. My daily driver wagon is a '03 Pontiac Vibe who seemed to welcome the old wise company of the Volvo as they sat in the garage together this afternoon :)

So looks like i'm gonna be a regular here...I look forward to learning from all of you!

-Phil
