vacuum leak 140-160 1971

What an annoying problem... I had 142 that did that with about a 2 second frequency. ANd the fan belt would squeek every time it reved. At least it wasn't an automatic.

My guess is with the brakes... easy enough to test that just be squeezing the hose to the booster with a pair of vice grips and see if that makes it go away.

Could be the one way air valve where the hose meets the booster..
