Strange noise after clutch job 200 1982

Had clutch overhauled recently at a local shop($1218). When car is in drive in any gear & when car is in neutral there is a high pitched screechy chirping noise that goes away as soon as you even lightly step on the clutch pedal.What is causing this ?
