AC pressure switch 700

Hello
I did the R134 conversion from R12 on my 87 740 GLE B230F and I am getting 41 – 43 at the center vents.
I read on the board that the pressure cycling switch should be recalibrated to cycle the compressor at 24 psi for R134 as apposed to 30 psi for R12.
The only pressure device I can see is the relief valve on the compressor and the high cut out on the dryer.
Where would the pressure cycle switch be located, or do I need to install one in the system. Also what are the ramifications of running without one?
Thank you for your time, Louis Smith
