SU HIF6 throttle butterfly replacement 140-160

Has anyone ever replaced the butterfly valves with the over-run valve in it on an HIF6 carb, with the butterfly without the over-run valve, which in my SU Carb manual is listed for the 'electronic type HIF' carb? Are they the same dimensions, and can the one be substituted for the other? Does anyone have the part number for such, or the number off an electronic HIF carb so that the volvo dealer can look up the part on his microfiche?
