The lazy man's solution to reluctant overdrive 200

Same problem for me...the damn overdrive wouldn't kick on and my wife drove me nuts over the resultant fuel consumption...the fix was too easy...remove the cover from the relay, plug in your soldering iron and have at it...the iron you have will do the job fine, just remember to make sure when you are resoldering that the connection has a nice shine to it when you are finished. This will indicate that you had just the right amount of heat in the connections to avoid a hot or cold solder joint. Make sure to use a resin core solder and don't use flux...Good luck and let us know how you make out!
