Hi, I'm looking at a 740 turbo wagon (89). Seller lists this as the item still giving him fits... I've only had 244s and a 122s, so can I get some input on this issue? I've read the faq and run a search but I figgure someone here knows this issue exactly. Thanks so much for the help!

Owner says:
the one thing that i haven't fixed yet is, somedays the car will loose power under turbo boost...there will be a lite black smoke under boost. i stop, pop the hood and unplug and replug the airflow meter and it works fine. so i don't know if its the airflow meter or the power harness(it makes a 90 degree turn into the plug to the meter).
