caliper removal 140-160 1971

I don't remember about a 140... Is there a metal tab bent over the bolt heads to lock them as on a 122? If so, I'll assume you did bend the tabs back... and... sorry for this suggestion...it is in no way meant to sound condescending, but are you certain you are turning them the right way? Easy to go the wrong way when the bolt heads are not facing you... I've done it many, many times. 'righty tighty lefty loosey' no longer applies.

Tight bolts... longer wrench. You'll get 'em. I'd tend to avoid heat on brake parts too.
