CONVERT injection to carb 200 1989

can anyone help ive got a 245 injection which i want to convert to carb the carb bolt straight on the proplem is the injectors feed petrol higher up the block than the ports on the carb if i swap it to carb and block the injectors off will it run or is the engine set up timing completely different to run on injection ?????????
