BRICK PULLS TO ONE SIDE TO OTHER DURING BRAKING 200 1986

Hello all,
I recently installed new front brake pads (PBR) from FCP Groten. I have noticed over the past 3,000 miles the car will try to steer itself to the left when the brakes are applied from a moderate speed (50 mph) coming up to a stop light. It also tried to pull to the right yesterday. I drive this car about
90 miles each day and 85% of that is all highway with very little city driving.
Some days I don't notice the pull at all.
I have 292K miles on it and it is pampered very well. Any help you can provide
will be greatly appreciated.
