Stalled, no start 700 1987

I have a 86 and it did the same thing. The problem turned out to be the fuel pump relay. the fuse panel gets very hot and starts messing things up under there. I replaced the relay and relocated the tube for the A/C under the steering colum to blow on the elec. panel. Have not had a problem with it. You should be able to get the relay at any junk yard for around 10 bucks and you can locate it by looking around in the features section under FAQ.
Good Luck and I really believe that you have an easy fix ahead of you.
Enjoy Your Brick,
Stag
