Kinked Fuel Pump Hose 200 1989

To All,

while trying to replace the fuel filter on my 89 Volvo 240 DL Wagon, I kinked the fuel pump metal hose that goes into the fuel filter. The bolts going into the filter were practically welded shut. Nonetheless, I aborted the project and hoped the car would start - it did not.

Can this metal hose be straightened out? Do I have to buy a new fuel pump? Or can this component be purchased separately?

I look forward to your replies.

Regards

Mike
