Oil Pressure at startup 200 1987

When starting my engine cold, it makes some tick tick tick noises for about a minute or less, and it sounds to me like the oil isn't being circulated soon enough after starting the engine. I think it started probably about a month ago, and I have since changed the oil and the level is fine. The oil pressure idiot light seems to stay on just a little longer than normal also but not more than a couple of seconds after startup.

What could be causing this problem? Could this be something beside oil pressure? I was considering getting a gauge and checking the pressure during the process, but I don't know where to start if there isn't enough pressure.

Thanks for the help.
