You may want to run some Auto-RX through it. The place to go is www.bobstheoilguy.com for info on transmissions and fluid. It may just need a good cleaning and Auto-RX with clean any sludge and garbage out of it. Click on the link over at bobs in the left column for Auto-RX to get to their site.
