1996 960 coolant question 900 1996

Hey guys,
I have a 1996 960 and have a coolant question. The overflow bottle had a small crack in it (was driving me crazy- couldn't figure out where I was losing coolant from). I replaced the overflow bottle, and added coolant. now after a trip (does not have to be too long- 20 mins.) the bottle wants to explode, so I crack the cap and anti-freeze comes gushing out. I am assuming there is air in the system. Is there a proper procedure for bleeding the system? or a bleeder screw somewhere? BTW, the temp gauge stays right in the middle (where it's supposed to be). any help is greatly appreciated.
