Turbo cooling after engine shut off 700 1989

I'm curious to know if anyone can direct me to information on cooling a turbo once the engine has shutoff?

I am wondering whether there is a setup to cycle engine coolant through the liquid cooling channels of the turbo via some sort of timed electrical pump.

If I'm not mistaken (volvo newbie here..) my 89 744 employs a means of liquid cooling the turbo in addition to the cooling provided by the lubricant cycling through the bearing.

Many thanks,

John
