Accessory Belts - Do I need the AC one? 900 1993

Hi all,

I broke my alternator belt. I got the usual symptoms, all dash lights came on first, dim headlights, overdrive dropped out, radio sounds weird, engine rans rough (in this order).

Anyway, I am going to replace the alt belt but was wondering if I really need my AC belt. The AC is dead anyways, and I do not intend to fix it (not at 140k miles). Can I just cut off that belt? I do not wish to bother removing it and reinstalling it to do the alt belt. Can there be any issues that I am not aware of?

Thanks

Seth
