starting problems on 960 900

That will not help. The Volvoshop have tried it, but with no result.
The problems can be "solved" by:
1. Turn the starting key so the fuelpump get engaged. You hear the sound of the pump from rear.
2. Turn back the key
3. Than at the second attempt, turn the key to ignitation and the engine will start.

Well this is not really a solution. At least you will not need to engage the startmotor twice....
