Let’s say your 122 with an otherwise good running B18 in it was nearly empty of gas. And let’s say you took some liquid from a gas can and dumped about a gallon of the stuff in there. It could have been, oh, anything in the can but your best guess was ancient gasoline or kerosene. But you were not certain.
And then your 122 started OK but soon stalled out and would not start again, even after filling up at the gas station and putting some dry gas in there.
At this point you knew you had to empty out the gas tank and at least clean the carburetors and make sure the lines were clean, etc.
If you had to do a “road call” to fix this situation how might you go about it? I mean if it were you, what would you use to clean the carbs (the check valves won’t drop) with and what parts of the carbs would you replace, assuming everything looked OK?
