leaking front window, how to remove 200

hi all. my 85 244 front window is leaking, drivers side running down my fuse panel. i removed all the stuff in the way lay on my back (like harry houdini) with a flashlight and have the wife spray water from the hose. i can see water coming in from the bottom corner of the winshield. question how to remove the crome trim from the rubber without ruining the crome trim? i was wondering what to use to reseal the window? i have previously pryed up the black rubber and used silecone on the outside perimiter all the way around the whole window, but the inside perimiter must be leaking and crome trim in my way. please help it is getting pretty funky inside my home on wheels.
