Fuse blows on hard acceleration 200 1985

It has been a long time since I visited this board, so I apologize if this problem has been addressed. When I accelerate hard, as if pulling into traffic or passing someone, the number 13 (figures, huh?) fuse blows. This fuse controls the turn signals, hazard flashers, dashboard guages and fuel injection relay. The alternator lamp and overdrive warning lamp glows when I try to use the turn signals, and when I accelerate (driving is normal). When I replace the 8a fuse, everything works again, until I accelerate hard again. I have checked the wires under the hood to see if anything is shorted, but haven't found anything amiss. If anyone has had this problem, please advise what you did to fix it. Thanks,

Bill
