Center Console woes...... 200

I bought a brand new tan center console...i changed it yesterday...(1989 5 sp. 245)what a pain in the ass these seats were for me, those rear tabs bend and tweek so much out of shape....i didnt even realize it happened...ok ok i get the console changed and everything back togather, the little forward tab by the P/brake swich had to be bent up a bit to fit the newer housing...now the light wont go out...so i get to keep the P/brake light on all the time WEEEE!

anyone ever have to cut a new hole in the cover in front there? my cover had the holes for heated seats, and matched up everywhere else except that groove for the forward tab...

i love this car, but some of volvos interior design/pieces bother me...haha...
