The THING just will not START. 120-130

As the others said go back to basics. It,s amaing how easy it can be to miss the obvious. I have seen experienced mechanics spend 2 hrs working on a fuel supply problem that originated in there being no fuel in the tank. You have no ignition, so trouble shoot it. Start by holding the HT lead from the coil with insulated grips, put the end near a good ground, have the engine turn over, spark yes reattach and got to spark plug lead, same thing. Spark no, check voltage to coil in ign on and starter key position etc.... Also if you HT leads are old (or cheap) messing with the fuel pump etc may have broken one in passing, when they break they are more intermittant than infinite resistance. So that can be hard to source. Good luck and try to enjoy the process, the challenge is good for your brain, Patrick.
