mpg and waisting wallets 120-130

with a stock single carb B20, varying driving styles from "Shell Economy Run" style (a yearly contest here in Europe, pump up tyres, don't touch accelerator) to "enjoy the engine" should get you nbrs like (US) mpg 29 .. 18, or (UK) mpg 35..21 (approximately). This is without congested traffic, of course.
The more relaxed cruising (55mpg, no acceleration) on the highway, the better.
Generally, in my experience, difficult to get better than 23..24 US mpg / 28 UK mpg.
