Recommendations after overfilling oil?

Just watch your seals.
If it is at the full line now, you are in as good a position as you can expect. I would never recommend running any engine (much less a turbo) at less than "full." Check the oil level after it has been sitting for awhile, undistrubed.
You should pull the crancase ventilation tubing/valves and drain them out so that you don't get excessive crankcase pressurization (and reduce the oil to the intake).
The smoking should settle down soon.
