M46 into a '91? 200

I thought I couldn't do this because of a hall sensor or whatever it is on the flywheel but maybe I've been reading turbobricks too much. The B230 in my '91 245 definitely has the distributor on the side of the block. Does this mean that I've got no inductive sensors on the flywheel and I can put an M46 from an '81 into this car?
