Door panels 200

I am replaceing the tan door panels on my 89 240 dl with the blackk ones off of the 82 turbo parts car. Yes I am changing the interior to all black. Anyway the turbo panels are rotten at the bottom for about 8 inches up. Is there a material you can fix this with?? I checked the dealer for new ones and they wanted $230.00 each plus $50..00 extra for the new speaker mounts,, I lot more than I can spend at the moment. (Why do I need new speaker mounts?) Anyway I saw some previous posts on the forum about something called POR-15. Is this the solution? Would fiberglass be better? I hope to either fix them or buy new ones before next week. I am really getting tired of replacing things. Guess I brought this on myself, I can not stop upgrading this brick.. HELP I cannot stop working on this thing.. Geeze Art was right , after replacing the blower motor I got the under dash craving and started replacing everything. Big Tach, Small clock, Oil gauge, Vacuum gauge, Voltmeter, and on and on and on and on....Ok just the door panels please..and then I will stop,,, hehehe right!!
