Sport Exhaust - Will she notice? 200 1993

If you've followed my previous posts you're aware of my "one thing leads to the next" exhaust repair.

I have just completed installation of the new Volvo OEM Head Pipe, Catalytic converter from IPD, and IPD Sport exhaust. Exverything seems to fit very well, but you guys know what a hastle exhaust work is. I look like someone dipped me upside down in tar right now :-)

With the new exhaust system on, I started the car and ROOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAR. That IPD Sport Exhaust sounds like a fire breathing dragon. It makes it sound like you have who knows what under the hood ( a 302 or something - yeah right). My first thought was "I AM SO DEAD. She's gonna kill me."

Then the car settled down to idle and it quieted down. I took it for a spin. When accelerating you can definately hear the exhaust. I like the sound. It's a nice sound. Not too loud as IPD says. Definately a bit louder than the IPD system in in S70. Once you reach speed it is quiet and you really don't notice anything. Is it quicker? Yeh sure. Now the car's just slow.

I like the new system. But, it is Her car. Now the question is, will she notice? Stay tuned for the exciting conclusion where we'll all learn if she notices or is Ted dead.

-Ted

P.S. Should you no longer hear from me, assume dead.
