Need B230FT Engine 700 1991

I own a very noisy 740 Turbo sedan,(300k diven) sounds like a diesel. The knocking noise is comming from the engine block area. A volvo expert told me that it is probably worn out piston skirts.Does anybody have an other oppinion?
I am looking for an exchange motor, preferably newly re-built. Where is the best place to buy one, I prefer to pick one up in the greater Toronto area.Would appreciate any tips, thanks.
