Hi Bryan, i got your gray moulding for the lower driver's door. the original junkyard wanted $80 for the valance & moulding. i was getting the thin, black long trim (underneath the doors), too, with a few plastic pieces.
cost was way, way too high.
i dropped the valance and black trim & he still wanted $35 for the moulding & the few plastic stuff i had. shouldn't have been more than $10-15.
i said thanks but no thanks, and went to my junkyard i always go to.
i did get you the gray moulding, but no valance. they are selling one valance on ebay at a good price right now, probably in better condition; this one was a little roughed up at the bottom a little bit.
besides, at the other junkyard, the gray moulding trim came off a 92 silver 240 sedan, which is in better condition. i bought your moulding (sorry, but no valance), an aluminum floor piece for another person and two relays for myself for $15. much better deal. both rubber knob things are still attached to the moulding. i pulled it off carefully not to bend it. it's held on by some kind of glue stuff.
i can take a pic if you like but it'll have to be tomorrow--it's my son's digital camera.
would $5 + actual shipping be ok? i thought about splitting the cost 3 equal ways. i believe you will be happy with this moulding, it's in pretty good condition.
i think the first yard was higher because they are in houston and easily accessable. my yard i go to is about 20 mi out of houston and closer to my home.
let me know if this works for you.
