Engine swaps into 120's 120-130

Hi All,

I am about to acquire a 122 which has a blown engine that died from oil starvation (not pretty). It is quite simple to find a b18 or b20 replacement however I thought I may as well ask what engine conversions have been done on 120's, I am familiar with swaps on 140's and 240's but have relatively no experience with 120's.

I would probably be steering away from a V8 conversion as I am looking for a final product that is relatively economical. I am more interested to hear about v6, straight six (would seem to be a bit of a push) or modern 4cyl swaps.

Any info would be great as the engine bay is quite different to the 140 bay I am used to.

Thanks,

Daz
