Leaking accessory bolt??? 200 1993

Another update in the ongoing saga. For background see:

http://brickboard.com/RWD/index.htm?id=836706

When replacing the water pump I discovered that there was also coolant leaking from the bolt that holds the alternator accessory bracket to the block. That was a new one for me. I could see that there was a seal between the bracket and the block. I tightened the bolt a bit and that seemed to cure it.

Does anyone have an experience with this? Should I be replacing that seal...I've never heard of this before.

Boy this whole cooling system leaves a lot of opportunity for potential leaks. Hopefully everything will be tight now, but somehow I doubt it.

Thanks

-Ted
