NEW BRICK OWNER 900 1997

JUST PURCHASED A SLIGHTLY USED 97 960 WAGON. IT HAS HAD THE TIMING BELT AND TENSIONERS REPLACED, CAM SEALS, ACCESSORY BELT WITHIN THE LAST 4K. CAR HAS 85K ON CLOCK. I THINK I SHOULD REPLACE THE SPARK PLUGS AND CHANGE THE OIL SO I HAVE A BASE LINE ON THESE ITEMS ALSO. ANY SUGGESTIONS AS TO PLUG TYPE, FILTER TYPE AND OIL TYPE. I AM VERY GOOD ABOUT CHANGING OIL EVERY 3K. ALSO IF THERE ARE ANY OTHER CONSIDERATIONS THAT I NEED TO BE AWARE OF TAKING CARE OF IN THE NEAR FUTURE. AS THIS IS TO BE MY WIFES CAR, AND AS WE ALL HOME REPAIR EXPERTS KNOW IF MOMMA IS NOT HAPPY THEN NO BODY IS GONNA BE HAPPY.
THANKS.
