Power window switch - 780 700 1991

Hi, my drivers side window on my 91' 780 sticks sometime going up. What I mean is that I will have to push the switch a couple times to get it going. I suspect that the contacts are dirty in the switch(s). I am not sure if this is related to the problem but a couple months back I noticed the window will make a slight "cracking" sound on the way down about halfway?

Anyway, I read the FAQ about cleaning the switch. The 780 has a different cluster than the other 700's I think. The whole thing pops out and seems like it is one sealed unit....I cannot seem to pry the top plastic piece off to get at the rocker switches. Does anyone have any experience with this model? Does it sound like I need a whole new switch cluster? I hate to fathom what this cost, as everything on the 780 is $$$.

thanks
