134A, Hot Shot, Freeze 12, all Poppycock!! 200

This is the 3rd gas I have tried in my 240. I bought it (89, 109K) with a conversion sticker but a leaked out system. Changed a line and all was fine.

Whelp...I have about had it with the new gasses. I can't get any anything to cool in it. 60 degrees at the vents at around 98 degrees with everything at max at 45 mph. My 88 760 which still has R-12 blows it away. Easily gets 20 degrees cooler at all tempratures.

I have vacumned, new O rings, new Groton exp. valve, new dryer, have flushed outside of evaporator with hose water. (boy was that a mess)

I just wonder if R-12 would give me that nice quick "good a/c" cooling you long for? I have heard stories about 38 degrees at the vents etc. I have never seen it with these bullshit gasses. Oh... they cool well if it isn't hot...80 out and you can get 50 at the vents. When the chips are down, 100 plus I have been at 70 at he vents...whoopee!

Maybe next year!
